Het nieuwe jaar is begonnen en we hopen natuurlijk op een goed en gezond jaar. Dat wens ik iedereen toe. Dus, alsnog bij deze de beste wensen.
De kerstboom mag naar het stort en de kerstballen mogen weer naar de zolder. We zijn er klaar voor, voor het nieuwe jaar. Veel mensen hebben goede voornemens, de een wilt stoppen met roken, de ander met de seks of wilt minder gaan eten.
Ik heb me voorgenomen om me meer om mijn vrienden te bekommeren.
En dan bedoel ik échte vrienden. Veel van hen verlies je in de loop der jaren uit het oog. Mijn eerste vriendinnetje heette Maudje en ze woonde bij mij om de hoek. Dus als ik met haar wilde spelen was ik in een mum van tijd bij haar. We deelden alles, de step, de poppen wagen en snoep, ook de kauwgum, al of niet voorgekauwd, maar dat maakte niet uit. Na het overlijden van mijn ouders verhuisde ik en zocht nieuwe vriendinnen. Zo gaat dat, de meeste zie je nooit meer terug. Op een enkeling na, dat zijn vrienden voor het leven. Ze staan altijd voor je klaar. Zelfs als je ze midden in de nacht uit hun bed belt.
Ik heb ook vrienden, echte en onechte. Met de onechte bedoel ik sommige vrienden op facebook. Ze zijn vrienden waar je van alles mee deelt, leuke dingen, nieuwtjes die je kwijt wilt. Pas geleden kwam ik zo’n vriend tegen, hij zag me nog niet eens. Kijk, zo gaat dat, facebook is een sociaal gebeuren, en voor sommige mensen heel belangrijk. Het is ook leuk, je zet erop wat je kwijt wilt en leest wat anderen met jou willen delen. De meeste berichten zijn niet schokkend, maar soms lees je iets dat wel schokkend is. Iemand die van de ene op de andere dag spoorloos verdwenen is. De familie maakt zich uiteraard grote zorgen, én dan is facebook een uitkomst. Ook voor mensen die veel alleen zijn is het goed, zo houden ze contact met de buitenwereld.
Als je facebook opstart zie je vaak gezichten verschijnen van mensen die zich nieuw hebben aangemeld en vrienden zoeken. Soms klik je ze aan en hoopt dat ze je vriendschapverzoek accepteren.
Dat gebeurde mij dus ook pas geleden. Twee mensen uit Maastricht stonden in beeld, met foto. Ze waren duidelijk op zoek naar nieuwe vrienden, tenminste dat dacht ik.
Het waren geen doorsnee mensen, de een is wereldberoemd, de ander berucht. Dus ik klikte ze aan om vrienden te worden, maar ze accepteerden mijn vriendschap niet. Misschien dat het nog komt, maar ik denk het niet. Kijk, dat mijnheer Hoes geen vrienden wilt worden met een vrouw van 71 kan ik me voorstellen. Die zoekt andere vrienden, vrienden waar hij wat mee kan ondernemen. Maar waarom mijnheer Rieu mij niet als vriend wilt begrijp ik niet. Goed, ik maak geen muziek, maar ik luister er wel graag naar. Misschien komt hij er nog op terug, misschien ook niet. Maar zonder gekheid, ik ben blij dat ik facebook vrienden heb en veel van hen trouw mijn columns lezen, want dat vind ik fijn.
Echte vrienden heb ik gelukkig ook, mijn partner Cees, mijn kinderen, mijn kleinkinderen. en nog veel meer mensen waar ik altijd op kan rekenen. En daar gaat het om. Dat is belangrijk!

Het is zo gezellig al die vrienden op facebook, o.a. andre rieu, gerard joling, koningin maxima, de prinsesjes, albert v.d.linden en noem ze maar op. Ach wat moet ik ermee, ik hou het wel bij echte vrienden net als jij. Het verhaaltje was weer erg leuk en kijk weer uit naar de volgende
Het lijkt er bijna op dat je tegenwoordig minimaal 100 Facebook vrienden nodig hebt om “erbij te horen” haha. Jij ook de beste wensen!
