zijn is best leuk, je hebt feest en voelt je vrolijk en blij, want je hebt er weer een jaartje bij. Toch zuchten veel mensen vaak en klagen dat ze ouder worden. Maar, ik zeg maar zo: “als je lang wilt blijven leven hoort dat erbij en…op het kerkhof liggen heel veel mensen die graag met je willen ruilen.”
Maar goed, ook ik was jarig, 75 jaar werd ik begin April.
Ruim van te voren kreeg ik een uitnodiging van mijn oudste zoon om het bij hem te komen vieren. Hij woont in de Eifel en vlak bij hem in de buurt ligt een prachtig dierenpark. Daar zouden we dan met ons allen naar toe gaan. Mij leek het wel wat, gezellig, maar dat betekende ook geen feest. Dus melde ik iedereen dat ik geen feestje zou geven.
Goed, ik dacht verder nergens meer aan en ging gewoon verder met mijn leven.
Pasen kwam en wij werden uitgenodigd op een etentje bij een broer van Cees. Gezellig samen Pasen vieren, we doen dit vaker, als er iets te vieren valt komen we bij elkaar, De ene keer bij ons de andere keer bij hen.
Dus tweede paasdag gingen we zoals afgesproken op tijd naar hen toe. Even na twaalf uur vertrokken we richting Oirsbeek. Niets vermoedend belden we aan en werden ontvangen door de broer van Cees. Nadat ik mijn jas had opgehangen liepen we door naar de woonkamer.
En toen kreeg ik een verrassing! Een ECHTE VERRASSING!
De hele familie was aanwezig en zong uit volle borst: LANG ZAL ZE LEVEN!!
Ik was stomverbaasd, echt, ik wist niet wat ik zag. Alle broers en zussen van Cees waren aanwezig samen met hun partner. En dat allemaal ter ere van mijn verjaardag.
Mijn lieve schoonzus, haar man, mijn lieve schat en de rest van de familie hadden dat ruim van te voren gepland. Ze wilden mij verrassen ter ere van mij 75 ste verjaardag, omdat ze van mening waren dat die niet ongemerkt voorbij kon gaan!
Nou, dat was gelukt, ik hoefde niks te doen, enkel en alleen maar genieten van de lekkere hapjes en drankjes.
En dat heb ik gedaan! Ik heb me heerlijk laten verwennen en genoten van die topverrassing, want dat was het.
Het leuke was dat ik totaal geen idee had wat er ging gebeuren toen ik aanbelde.
Ik ben hartstikke blij met zo’n lieve schoonfamilie.
